Superior Engineering brake proportioning valve bracket for the Nissan Patrol GQ/GU and Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series with a 4 inch lift.

Usage

A proportioning valve sets the correct balance of braking between the front and rear brakes. When a vehicle is lifted, the valve reads no load on the rear end. The brakes then do not perform correctly, which may cause loss of vehicle control and a crash. A correct size proportioning bracket is mandatory when a lift kit is fitted. The valve mounting point must be raised by the same amount as the vehicle lift over factory height, so a 4 inch lift needs approximately 4 inches. Braided brake lines are also recommended with larger tyres or a raised vehicle.
